The state worked collaboratively with the CMS and GetInsured security teams for several months to ensure that all federal privacy and security requirements were met. Over 99,000 Nevadans Enrolled in Health Insurance During Nevada Health Link’s Open Enrollment Period

  • This year marks the State marketplace’s second largest Open Enrollment ever.

(CARSON CITY, NV) – Nevada’s health insurance marketplace, NevadaHealthLink.com, recently wrapped up its two-and-a-half-month Open Enrollment Period on January 15, and final numbers revealed that this year’s enrollment numbers outpaced last year’s totals by 3%. This makes for the second-largest enrollment in the state’s marketplace history, with 99,312 Nevadans enrolling in a Qualified Health Plan and 20,984 enrolling in a Qualified Dental Plan.

I was a bit surprised to hear that this is the 2nd highest OEP enrollment in Nevada's history, but sure enough, they broke 101,000 back in 2022.

Nevada Health Link is encouraging Nevadans to join the more than 93,000 others who have enrolled in a health insurance plan this Open Enrollment Period. Nevada Health Link’s Open Enrollment Period is the only time of year Nevadans can freely enroll in a health insurance plan through the state marketplace without experiencing a qualifying life event, such as getting married, having a baby or moving. First Wave of Nevada Medicaid Redeterminations Happening Now

(CARSON CITY, Nev.) – As the state unwinds from the federal public health emergency, the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) has begun the reevaluation of all Medicaid enrollments for the first time since 2020 during which you may lose coverage under Medicaid. In April, the first wave of recipients received their renewal packets in the mail. Those who did not respond or who no longer qualify based on income or other factors will lose their benefits starting June 1, 2023. Nevada Health Link Enrolled 96,379 Nevadans in Health Insurance During Open Enrollment

(CARSON CITY, NV) – Nevada Health Link is excited to announce that 96,379 Nevadans have enrolled in qualified, affordable health insurance plans during this year’s Open Enrollment Period (OEP), which ran from November 1, 2022 through January 15, 2023.

Of the over 96,000 Nevadans who enrolled in health insurance plans through NevadaHealthLink.com, 18,117 were new enrollees, meaning they were not previously enrolled in a plan on the marketplace.

“We are thrilled that thousands of Nevadans have taken advantage of their health and financial protection by enrolling in health plans this Open Enrollment,” said Ryan High, Executive Director of Nevada Health Link. “Our top priority is ensuring Nevadans are protected and have access to quality coverage and health care.”

Nevadans have until January 15 at 11:59 p.m. to enroll in health and dental plans for 2023

WHAT: Less than one week remains to enroll in qualified, affordable health and dental coverage through NevadaHealthLink.com, the online health insurance marketplace operated by the state agency, the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange (Exchange). Open Enrollment began on November 1, 2022 and ends on January 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

90% of Nevadans who shop for plans through Nevada Health Link qualify for premium tax credits to help lower the costs of monthly premiums. Nearly half of all Nevadans with plans through Nevada Health Link have plans under $100 per month.

Since November 1, 43,546 Nevadans have actively enrolled or re-enrolled in one of the Exchange’s 163 Qualified Health Plans (QHP) for Plan Year 2023.
