Connecticut joins the "In Line by Midnight" Crowd

Just a few hours ago, Access Health CT issued what seemed to be a fairly solid, hard-line statement about midnight tonight being their open enrollment deadline.

Apparently the moves made by HC.gov, CO, NY, CA, MA, WA & MD (just moments earlier) got to Connecticut...

(February 15, 2015) Access Health CT (AHCT) Acting CEO Jim Wadleigh released the following statement about tonight’s health care enrollment deadline: “As the midnight deadline for enrolling in quality, affordable healthcare approaches, we are experiencing a substantial surge in the number of people who are trying to sign up. We will make sure anyone who made a good faith attempt to enroll does not miss out on being enrolled. If you have started an application but have been unable to complete the enrollment process, please call us at 1-855-805-4325. If necessary, you will be prompted to leave your name, address and a phone number in a secure voicemail where an Access Health CT employee will get back to you over the next few days to complete your enrollment. All messages left before midnight tonight, February 15th, will be considered as meeting the enrollment deadline.”
