District of Columbia: CUMULATIVE totals (since Oct. 2013): 18.8K QHPs, 37.4K Medicaid, 15.3K SHOP
These numbers are pretty good for DC...except that there's an important caveat: They're all cumulative numbers since October 1st, 2013, making it trickier to parse out:
More Than 71,000 People Enrolled in Health Coverage Through DC Health Link

Enrollment
From October 1, 2013 to December 21, 2014, over 71,500 people have enrolled in health insurance coverage through DC Health Link in private health plans or Medicaid:
18,773 people, including new customers from the 2nd Open Enrollment Period , have enrolled in private health plans through the DC Health Link individual and family marketplace;
37,457 people were determined eligible for Medicaid coverage through DC Health Link; and
15,284 people enrolled through the DC Health Link small business marketplace and members and staff from US Congress.
Fortunately, I have most of the 2014 data as well so we can break this out:
- QHPs: 13,100 renewals, 1,886 new additions = 14,986 total QHPs for 2015. This appears to mean that 3,787 of last year's enrollees dropped out or didn't renew for next year to get the 18,773 cumulative total.
- Medicaid: This has no deadline, so it's not as big of a deal, but DC had 31,175 enrolled in Medicaid via their exchange as of 10/07, so that's gone up by 6,282 since then.
- SHOP: Again, there's no deadline for this: DC was at 14,486 enrollees as of 10/07, and have added another 798 since then. The press release doesn't really say whether all 15,284 are currently enrolled but given DC's unique situation with Congressional Staffers, it's safe to assume that they are.
