Pennsylvania: Pennie's 2024 Open Enrollment Period is here!

Harrisburg, PA – November 1, 2023, marks the beginning of Pennie’s 2024 Open Enrollment Period, which is the annual time when Pennsylvanians who need health coverage can find high-quality health plans at the lowest costs.

Pennie is Pennsylvania’s official health insurance marketplace, and the only source for financial savings to lower monthly premium payments or out-of-pocket costs. Nine out of 10 Pennie customers qualify for financial savings.

Pennie ensures that all plans available provide access to a wide range of medical services, including hospitalization, prescription drugs, maternity care, mental health services, and much more. Health plans through Pennie must cover care for pre-existing conditions, offer free preventive services, and provide important financial protections.

“Any Pennsylvanian who needs coverage should enroll now during Pennie’s Open Enrollment Period. Waiting until you get sick or injured will mean it is too late to enroll,” said Pennie’s Executive Director Devon Trolley. “If you don’t have coverage through your job or if you recently lost Medicaid, Pennie has affordable and high-quality health plans from the top insurance companies across the Commonwealth. We want all Pennsylvanians to have the protection and peace of mind that comes with having health coverage.”

The first deadline is December 15th for coverage starting New Years Day.  Pennsylvanians looking for health plans through Pennie can visit pennie.com or call Pennie Customer service at 1-844-844-8040. Pennie’s Customer Service Center is open from 8 am – 7 pm Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 8 am – 1 pm during Open Enrollment.
